Clavette [klavεt] : French word for key. In mechanical engineering, a key is a metal part used to make two elements rotate together.

LA CLAVETTE IN A FEW WORDS

WHY?
There is a growing number of engineers looking for meaning in their jobs but who don’t know how they can design products with a positive impact.

HOW?
By showing inspiring examples of technologies developed to improve human lives.

WHAT
Videos and articles to show and explain Positive Engineering around the world.

POSITIVE ENGINEERING

After meeting a wide range of actors of the tech for good community, reading dozens of books on the subject and browsing thousand of websites. I came up with this conclusion: Positive Engineering is based on three main pillars.

Humanist Innovation

Humanist Innovation

Humans are at the center of the problem. Use technology to solve social challenges and design solutions adapted to users. Technology is a powerful tool for change.

Co-creation

Co-creation

Share the good ideas, work with people from different backgrounds and cultures. By creating together, we can find solutions that none of us could achieve individually. A lot of solutions already exist and now the challenge is to connect everything together.

Sustainable design

Sustainable design

Our resources are limited so we have to adapt the way we actually design and produce products. Get into a more circular economy, find local solutions for global change.

A 6-MONTH JOURNEY

In 2017, follow a 6 month journey and explore the Positive Engineering with me. The trip will bring us to Asia and South America. Those two regions include countries with a high development potential and plenty of inspiring initiatives.
